Type 301 Stainless Steel, often referred to as UNS S30100, is a popular austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that is known for its corrosion resistance. Similar to Type 304, Type 301 has lower levels of chromium and nickel which increases its cold work-hardening range.
Type 301 Stainless Steel has a minimum tensile strength of 185,000 PSI and 140,000 PSI yield strength. All the Type 301 stainless steel we supply meets or exceeds the industry’s toughest standards.
